Data Deletion Request

User data deletion instructions (Meta Platforms requirement)

Salam Jeju respects your right to have your personal information deleted. This page explains what we hold, how to request deletion, and how long it takes.

What we may hold

  • Instagram interactions: messages and comments you sent to @salamjeju or @nasir_seong, your Instagram-scoped user ID, and our reply log.
  • Retreat application records (name, email, phone, travel preferences).
  • Booking and payment metadata.
  • Standard server logs (retained 90 days).

How to request deletion

  1. Email jin@regenntwrks.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
  2. Tell us which identifier(s) to delete — your Instagram handle, the email you booked with, or the phone number you provided.
  3. We verify the request (by replying from the same channel you reached us on, or by asking for a booking reference) and then delete all associated records within 14 days.
  4. You receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

Removing Salam Jeju from your Instagram

To stop our Instagram automation from receiving further messages from your account:

  1. Open the Instagram app.
  2. Go to SettingsAccounts Center Apps and websites.
  3. Find any Salam Jeju connection and tap Remove.
  4. Alternatively, you may simply stop messaging our accounts — we do not initiate conversations.

Records we may need to retain

Certain records may be retained where required by Korean tax or consumer protection law (booking and payment records for up to 5 years, in pseudonymised form where possible). We will explain any such retention in our reply to your request.
