Dasoni is a traditional Korean tea house and temple-cuisine restaurant in Jeju City, set in a rustic room layered with wood crafts, pottery, calligraphy, and persimmon-dyed textiles, with garden views through large windows. The chef cooks refined plant-based Korean food in the Buddhist temple tradition: lotus-leaf rice steamed with ginkgo, jujube, and lotus root, vegetable bibimbap on heirloom rice, perilla sujebi in mushroom broth, and seasonal banchan that rotates through the year. Vegan guests should ask for the radish broth in place of the default anchovy. The food is plant-based, alcohol-free, and pork-free, halal-safe by ingredient for travellers after a quiet, refined Korean meal. Open 11am to 10pm with a 3 to 5pm break.
