What makes June 2026 different

Every Salamjeju retreat shares the same backbone — villa, halal meals, group activities. These are the moments only this week of the year can offer.

Moment 1

Eongtto Falls — only flows after rain

A 50-meter waterfall that runs maybe ten days a year, all of them in jangma. The forest path to the viewing deck turns into its own quiet stream. This is the single best reason to visit Jeju in monsoon.

Moment 2

Hydrangeas at island-wide peak

Late June is hydrangea peak — Camellia Hill, Hyeopjae cluster, the Hyeongje-ro country road. The grey sky is what makes the blue colors actually pop. We chase the right gardens between showers.

Moment 3

Bijarim's mist forest, empty trails

Bijarim's 800-year-old nutmeg trees feel like a different country in the mist. Korea avoids Jeju in monsoon, so we walk the boardwalks alone. Indoor backups for every activity, BBQ moves to the covered patio.

Sunset Chat at Pyoseon Beach

First outdoor gathering and mingling against the sunset backdrop with Nasir-hosted recreation games.
