Moment 1

Eongtto Falls or Bijarim mist forest ??weather call

Jangma's gift, picked on the morning: when it actively rains we head to Eongtto, the 50-meter waterfall that runs maybe ten days a year, all of them in monsoon. On misty break-in-the-rain mornings we go east to Bijarim's 800-year-old nutmeg forest instead ??boardwalks alone, Korea avoids Jeju in monsoon. Either way, indoor backups stand by and BBQ moves to the covered patio.

Hydrangeas at island-wide peak

Late June is hydrangea peak ??Camellia Hill at full saturation, Jongdal-ri's east-coast lane, Hyeongje-ro country road. The grey sky is what makes the blue colors actually pop. We chase the right gardens between showers.
