Moment 1

Gasiri Nogsan-ro first rapeseed

Mid-to-late March is when Gasiri's Nogsan-ro ??Korea's most photographed canola road ??opens its first yellow week. The bloom is sparse but the road is empty; ~15 min from the villa.

Moment 2

Jeonnong-ro cherry buds at the cusp

Jeju City's Jeonnong-ro cherry tunnel buds up in mid-March, a week before mainland Korea's bloom. We catch it on the Day 4 northern loop ??bare branches starting to flush pink, no crowds yet.

Moment 3

Saryeoni Forest first-leaf walk

Mid-March pulls Saryeoni out of dormancy ??the boardwalk's cedar-cypress canopy still bare, but understory ferns and moss waking into vivid green. A ~20-min drive-by stop on the north loop.

Welcome Chat at Pyoseon Beach

First outdoor gathering on the beach ??Nasir-hosted recreation games, slow conversation, the sea breathing in front of you. Maghrib at the villa as we head back.
