Camellia Hill — first proper bloom

Late November is when Camellia Hill's main camellia season actually starts — red, pink, and white blooms across 40,000 trees. We go on a clear morning before the day-trippers arrive.

Moment 2

First-frost mornings at the villa

By late November mornings dip near zero on cool nights — the villa's heated floors and a slow Korean breakfast (juk porridge, warm side dishes) become the actual point.

Moment 3

Hallabong tangerine tasting

Hallabong (a Jeju mandarin variety with a small bump on top) ripens in late November. We host a tasting of the island's three main varieties side-by-side — sweet, tart, and the famous orange-mango note of hallabong.
