Every Salamjeju retreat shares the same backbone — villa, halal meals, group activities. These are the moments only this week of the year can offer.

Moment 1

Hydrangeas just opening

Jongdal-ri's hydrangea road and Hyeopjae's coastal cluster start their bloom mid-June. We drive both at dawn — pale-blue still, before they go saturated and the crowds find them.

Moment 2

Seopjikoji clear-day cliff walk

10 minutes from the villa: the basalt cape that juts toward Seongsan Ilchulbong. Mid-June is the year's clearest visibility — Mt Hallasan sometimes shows from the cape lookout. A 30-minute coastal loop, modest dress, no swim.

Moment 3

Sunset cookout on the open deck

The K-food cooking session moves to the camp's open deck while the evenings are still dry — sea breeze, sunset light, dinner under the sky. By late June it shifts indoors; this week is the window.

Tour rules, self-introductions, and a welcome gift ceremony — Nasir presents each guest with a custom embroidered cap featuring their Korean name.

Sunset Chat at Pyoseon Beach

First outdoor gathering and mingling against the sunset backdrop with Nasir-hosted recreation games.
