Moment 1

Hydrangeas just opening

Jongdal-ri's hydrangea road on the east coast starts its bloom mid-June. We drive it at dawn ??pale-blue still, before they go saturated and the crowds find them.

Moment 2

Seopjikoji clear-day cliff walk

10 minutes from the villa: the basalt cape that juts toward Seongsan Ilchulbong. Mid-June is the year's clearest visibility ??Mt Hallasan sometimes shows from the cape lookout. A 30-minute coastal loop, modest dress, no swim.

Moment 3

Sunset cookout on the open deck

The K-food cooking session moves to the camp's open deck while the evenings are still dry ??sea breeze, sunset light, dinner under the sky. By late June it shifts indoors; this week is the window.

First outdoor gathering on the beach ??Nasir-hosted recreation games, slow conversation, the sea breathing in front of you. Maghrib at the villa as we head back.
