Cheonjiyeon Falls is a 22-metre forested waterfall in central Seogwipo, reached by an easy ten-minute walk along a paved canyon trail through subtropical forest. The falls drop into a 20-metre-deep emerald pool that's home to the protected Mutae (marbled) eel — a natural monument unique to Korea — and the surrounding ravine is a UNESCO Global Geopark site protecting several rare fern species.
