What makes September 2026 different

Every Salamjeju retreat shares the same backbone — villa, halal meals, group activities. These are the moments only this week of the year can offer.

Moment 1

Green tangerine harvest & bottling

Cheonggyul (green tangerine) season is short — early to mid September. We visit a partner orchard, pick a basket each, and spend an afternoon making cheonggyul-cheong (syrup) you take home in glass jars.

Moment 2

Yongnuni Oreum at first silvering

Eulalia grass (억새) starts to silver in early September. Yongnuni Oreum is ~15 min from the villa — a 30-minute climb to the rim, late-afternoon light through the silver, none of the famous-oreum crowds.

Moment 3

Jongdal-ri cosmos roads on the coastal cycle

The Day 4 coastal cycle gets routed through Jongdal-ri's cosmos lanes — pink and white blooms thigh-high along the east-coast country road, the sea on one side. ~25 min east of the villa.

Shuttle from Jeju Airport at 9AM / 1PM. Nasir personally welcomes you with drinks, room assignments, and Ajwa dates.

Tour rules, self-introductions, and a welcome gift ceremony — Nasir presents each guest with a custom embroidered cap featuring their Korean name.

Sunset Chat at Pyoseon Beach

First outdoor gathering and mingling against the sunset backdrop with Nasir-hosted recreation games.

Grilled and braised whole hairtail — halal-friendly Jeju seafood at its finest.

Free time at the villa. Optional nearby mart/Daiso shopping with staff.
